This is the heartbreaking moment a dog tearfully reunites with his father after he had gone missing. Coco the dog had been missing for more than 3 months, but when his human buddy finally finds him, the reunion is wonderful.
Coco, like every puppy, was the family’s soul and happiness, so the news that he’d gone missing devastated everyone’s heart. Rustico Samson Jr., on the other hand, suffered the most. He and the adored canine are the best of friends.
“There was a lot of anguish and a lot of pain,” Samson Jr. revealed to The Dodo. “I cried because he [Coco] is more than just a pet to me.” He’s like family.”
Samson Jr. and his family, on the other hand, never gave up hope. They never quit looking for Coco. Friends, neighbors and even strangers pitched in to help them discover and return their furry buddy. For more than three months, the boy circulated leaflets about his lost dog on the streets of the Philippines.
Thankfully, his perseverance paid off, as a dog matching Coco’s description was discovered in a parking garage after much anguish. When Samson Jr. heard about it, he went to the location, and luckily, the reports were correct. Coco was the dog who was observed there.
“Right then, when I saw a pup laying on the ground of that parking garage, I knew it was him,” Samson Jr recounts the incident. “I was 100 percent certain it was Coco.”
What followed was an extremely emotional reunion. A testament to the fact that dogs and humans can establish the most unshakable friendships! “I was overwhelmed,” the adolescent said. “I was overjoyed, and Coco, I’m sure, felt the same way. He was sobbing like a baby.”
Coco was a little emaciated from walking the streets for so many days, but she was still healthy. But the most important thing is that he is again home and secure with his family, who adores him! “Owning a pet doesn’t matter whether you’re rich or poor, as long as you have a heart and treat them like family.” “When somebody close to you dies, you never give up,” Samson Jr explains.
