When Sadie was only one year old, her family adopted her from a shelter.
Just, at first sight, her new owners got obsessed with the active and happy cat.
As per Kaeley Simek, Sadie’s adoptive “mother,” her dog’s life is an endless vacation.
She is full of energy and eager to have an adventure from morning to evening – but apart from when she has to go to the clinic.
Sadie has detested going to the vet from the puppy’s first vaccine.
She’s long known that a trip to the clinic is nearly always accompanied by injections, and she tries to avoid them as much as she can.
Kaeley attempted numerous clinics to help her cat overcome her dread of physicians before meeting Dr. Noah — a “singing” veterinarian who effortlessly calms down terrified patients.
Furthermore, he declined to use white coats in his hospital, which makes pets really nervous.
Dr. Noah was able to win over Sadie on his first visit. She huddled up in terror.
The doctor then sat on the ground and started singing a beautiful song while playing his guitar.
And it started working: the dog’s owners were astounded at how, by the end of the song, their scared pet licked the doctor and quietly allowed herself to be given 2 shots.
Dr. Noah realizes how unpleasant a trip to the veterinarian’s office can be for many animals.
He strives to create a cheerful atmosphere and brighten up his patients by using music.
This strategy proved to be the most effective in the instance of Sadie.
She believed the “singing” doctor and now looks forward to seeing him.
“She’s still terrified,” Kaeley recalls, “but he always makes time to sit and talk with Sadie.” We visit him once a week to help the dog form pleasant associations. He’s got a large heart!”
