UPS Dogs is a website where drivers may upload photos of lovely puppies they meet during the course of their day.
Here’s the amazing story!
Katie Newhouser works as a UPS driver and has over fifteen years of experience. She’s certainly met more dogs than she can remember during her extended career, but there’s only 1 dog in particular who has earned a very unique place in her heart.
Katie met Leo at a location where she visits at least a couple of times a month. Tina, the dog’s owner, was a lovely lady who had kept him since he was a puppy. Tina and Leo had an exceptionally tight relationship, as you might expect, and Katie could see it.
However, upon visiting Leo one day, Katie discovered that Tina had regrettably passed away while she was on holiday. Her son, who was serving in the Marine Corps, was put in charge of the dog. But, due to his hectic schedule, he was unable to provide Leo with the affection and care he had grown accustomed to.
So Katie contacted the son and asked him if he would actually give the dog to her since she and Leo had grown close over the years.
Katie felt Leo would fit right in, despite the fact that she already had six pets in her care. They are now one huge happy family.
