There is no one more devoted to their family than a dog! So it’s always terrible to hear that a dog’s family has abandoned him and left him to care for himself. When I first heard the story of this holy canine, I feared the worst. But what I discovered later gave me hope!
For 2 months, a dog abandoned on the side of the road in Thailand had really been waiting for his owners to return.
Drivers in Phuket, Thailand, observed the abandoned dog standing on the side of the road. Each day, he waited to see if his inhuman possessors would return for him.
He never left the spot, day in and day out.
After a while, kind-hearted people attempted to assist him. But he wouldn’t let anyone get too close to him.
They had left their umbrellas to provide shade for him from the sun.
They also left food for him to consume. But he ate sparingly because he was still waiting for his family.
It didn’t matter if it poured or was scorching outside; he’d never venture under the sanctum unarmed.
He appeared to be in a state of hysteria, fearful that if he moved, he would miss his possessors going past.
As his position worsened, more and more prints of the faithful canine began to circulate online. He’d been under observation for two months as of August 19, 2014.
The effects appeared hopeless until someone informed Soi Dog Rescue of the holy canine’s suffering, and the canine was protected in their sanctum within a day! Not only that but he was married a few days after his release!
It’s remarkable what can be accomplished when a large number of people travel long distances to assist a dog in need! I’m hoping that this dog’s damaged heart will heal with his adoptive family.
