Everyone, please welcome Freddy! According to Guinness World Records, the huge Great Dane stands 7 feet tall and is the world’s largest dog. When Freddy’s owners bought him as a puppy, they knew he was going to grow into a big dog.
After all, Great Danes can weigh up to 190 pounds and reach 33 inches tall on average. Nothing, however, could have prepared them for what was about to unfold.
To say Freddy exceeded expectations would be an understatement. Freddy is taller than most humans and weighs more than 200 pounds when he stands on his hind legs.
Despite his gigantic size, which would terrify anyone who came into contact with him, Freddy’s owner Claire describes him as the friendliest dog ever.
He’s a friendly giant who enjoys being around humans and gets along well with other canines that are only a tenth of his size.
He’s also excellent with youngsters, and Claire’s two children claim they always feel safer with Freddy around. Who wouldn’t be, anyway?
