While traveling home, Angel Janes observed a homeless man sitting by the side of the road. She didn’t spend much time thinking about that at first. However, she noticed something weird on his lap and stopped the car to find out more. Soon after, the man revealed himself to be one of the nicest.
This incredible event occurred in Salt Lake City, Utah, when Angel Janes was returning home from work and observed a homeless man with a poster seeking money and labor. She noticed something in his lap at this precise time.
Angel observed a tiny small chihuahua wrapped on a blanket in Ron’s lap as he was preparing to light a cigarette. The man’s apparent and heartfelt efforts to keep the puppy safe and warm were obvious and heartwarming.
Angel volunteered to provide the tiny creature a better location to remain while speaking with the man.
Ron told Angel that he had seen the dog on the highway two hours earlier while a woman was on her way to abandon her. Ron dashed over to help the dog without hesitating.
Angel was inspired by this modest heroic act. Ron reasoned this by fearing that the dog would not become homeless like him.
However, the dog was safe with Ron, which couldn’t last long. Angel aided Ron by adopting the puppy and providing her with a better place to live. Angel also shared this anecdote on her Facebook page.
It didn’t take long before a woman called Kathleen Dallman came up to offer money for the puppy to foster her, and against Ron’s objections, she accepted. Ron was overcome with emotion.
Fortunately, the tiny companion now has a warm and comfortable home in which to live her dream existence.
Kathleen, after assisting the dog, also organized a support fund for Ron, which brought in about 7000 dollars.
They purchased him a cellphone and began looking for work for him. What a heartwarming story about second chances!
