Although some people assume that postal workers and the dogs they encounter on their route have nothing in common, these two closest buddies firmly disagree. A postal worker in New Zealand – who clearly loves puppies – and a German shepherd, who doesn’t have a great reputation in the area, enjoyed a great moment on camera!
Some people, even those who know him well, misunderstand a nine-month-old German Shepherd dog. Michael Collins, the dog’s owner, decided to install a covert camera to monitor the dog’s behavior around strangers. But he had the greatest surprise in store.
When the mail worker approaches, the dog becomes even more friendly than usual. He’s not simply sitting there with his tail wagging; he’s also stroking his secret companion. You can picture the owner’s reaction as you watch the wonderful interaction. And guess what else? It wasn’t by chance; it was part of their everyday routine…
“Whether we receive mail or not, this mailman constantly stops to meet my dog, who is about 9 months old,” the owner remarked on Facebook. “He’s always regarded as a scary or unapproachable dog, perhaps because he’s large, I’m not sure.”
He doesn’t bark or growl at them (except for the rare couple of times he does, but what dog doesn’t?). But this guy here always gets off his bike and gives him a hug and a pat!”
