This Pit Bull gets a bed after sleeping on the floor for about 8 years…

AMA Animal Rescue saved Lola, a pit bull.

Lola, the dog, had been imprisoned in a garage for the last 8 years. There was no soft place to rest, no one to pay attention to, and no veterinary care. The pit bull’s life was difficult, and she rarely saw daylight.

A bystander noticed Lola’s condition one day and contacted AMA Animal Rescue, which is situated in the New York area, for assistance. When the AMA team arrived, they talked with the owner and convinced him to give up Lola in return for a better life.

Lola was approached with caution by the team, who expected the pit bull to be fearful and angry. Lola was unconcerned about the issue. Her short tail began wagging furiously, and the staff recognized she was nice and needed to be noticed.

“We nicknamed her wiggle butt,” said AMA volunteer Michele Walsh. “Wagging her cute little tail, wonderfully friendly, kissing her rescuers, and happy to meet them.” AMA immediately took Lola to Animal Kind Vet Hospital, where she had a couple of tumors removed. It was then placed in foster care for several months.

Lola didn’t have to look far for her final home. Charlene von Saher, a Manhattan resident, wanted to adopt Lola after just one look. Lola has been with von Saher for seven weeks and has more relaxing locations than she could have dreamed.

Lola likes to unwind on a variety of surfaces, including mattresses, dog beds, sofas, and tiled furniture. He also likes the sun and going on regular adventures.
