Samson the Anatolian Shepherd has gone from shelter dog to heroic dog, and he has a bright future ahead of him. Aranda Guerra, an animal advocate from Selma, California, saw the pup, then named Max, and felt she had to assist him.
Guerra had possessed an Anatolian Shepherd and recognized the breed’s potential. Guerra stepped up after seeing the most recent intake at Second Chance Animal Shelter.
“He appeared to be depressed. “It’s really sad,” Guerra said.
The gorgeous blue-eyed puppy was surrendered to the shelter because he kept getting out of the home and his owner had given up on him. Samson would be given another chance at life due to Aranda Guerra and many others, particularly dog trainer John Anthony.
“After just a long travel up to Selma, CA, Samson is relaxing, drinking, and eating his first marrow bone at the Redemption Road K9 Ranch while waiting for his physical test,” according to a Facebook status report.
Anthony intends to train Samson to be a health service dog for a young girl. The child suffers from illnesses and polycystic kidney disease, and she needs the assistance of a medical service dog.
“I became emotional after watching Taylor and Samson bond on the ranch since that’s the exact reason we founded Redemption Road K9,” Anthony explained.
We love happy endings and wish you the best of luck, Samson!
