Every lonely canine yearns for nothing more than to find them forever homes. They’re all simply waiting for that wonderful day when they’ll be espoused and picked up by their new family.
However, one unlucky canine’s enthusiasm recently turned to heartbreak after being turned down by multiple adopters — but the monk is still desperate to find this long-staying dog a house.
Hendrix, a 4-year-old Chinese Shar-Pei/Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, has been at the Kentucky Humane Society the longest. He was taken in in April and has been waiting for months for a house, watching as other pets are adopted instead of him.
KHS, on the other hand, has been working hard to find a home for this “extremely brilliant, immensely devout, adorable” canine.
“He has the smile of a hero, the cuddling skills of a glutinous parent who can’t even believe their baby is graduating high school, the house-training abilities of an honor roll student who refuses to pardon themselves from class for a bathroom break, and most importantly – the boy has heart,” KHS posted on Facebook.
“He has a great heart, and he deserves to be loved the way we do.”
KHS allowed that they had just found a home for Hendrix and arranged for eager adopters to see Hendrix — only to be dealt yet another letdown and reversal.
Hendrix was excited to meet the new family and “had everyone agitated and dressed up.” However, when the family didn’t show up, he was devastated.
“Hendrix is depressed,” KHS wrote. ” It’s devastating to watch him stay anxious for a family to arrive only to be stood up. We can’t bear the thought of our lovely boy being upset.”
They took part in a tragic print of the dog, lying on the ground, looking so disappointed.
The poster piqued the interest of internet users, who responded with encouraging comments for the standing canine.
One user wrote, “Hang in there, Hendrix.” ” They were just not the ideal family for you.” Your family will be there.”
“It appears to me that they do not deserve you, darling boy!” another was added “The proper family will appear.”
But, after this sad incident, KHS is more eager than ever before to find Hendrix the perfect home.
Hendrix requires a home without pussycats and would be the sole pet in such a home. But surely there must be a home for this adorable puppy somewhere out there.
“All of us at the Kentucky Humane Society adore Hendrix, and we simply want him to have a wonderful life with somebody who loves him as much as we do,” the humane society stated.
We felt so bad for Hendrix after he stayed for so long and got his expedients up only to be stood up at the last moment. They were clearly not the family he deserved.
But, ideally, somebody will be moved by Hendrix’s tragic story and choose to adopt him in real…
