Leaving aside the never-ending cat-versus-dog debate, cats and dogs are two completely distinct species. Many individuals, however, keep both cats and dogs as pets. It can be difficult to coexist with a dog and a cat. But there is such a thing as dog-cat companionship, as evidenced by the video below.
