Alex was on the verge of abandoning his quest. He was severely starved, dehydrated, and exhausted, with sores infested with maggots all over his body.
The worst part was that he was stranded on the side of a road in a rural location with no way of escape on his own. He became caught because he was wearing a collar with a long chain. Worse, he was completely undetectable from the road. He just stood a slim chance of being rescued in time.
But he had no idea that his life was about to change significantly and that his history would no longer be a burden.
A man named Alex (after whom Alex the pup is named) noticed the fading pup while cleaning the surroundings. He immediately sought help from the Feed Friends Foundation, a local animal charity.
They decided to bring him in and found him a great foster family in Alle Hadoc to look after him while he recovered physically and mentally.
It’d be a long and tough road to recovery for Alex, but neither he nor his supporters would give up.
He met new pups and kitties at his foster home who taught him the ropes and aided him along the way. Alex was a wonderful dog that adored everyone he encountered, both humans and animals.
With the passage of time, Alex began to heal from the inside out. His body injury and the wound on his heart both recovered.
He was adopted into a loving permanent family once he had fully recovered, and he is now enjoying his second chance at life!
