A 12-year-old Mexican kid abandoned his pet in front of a local animal shelter. At the time the personnel at the Refugio Xollin discovered him, he had been put in a box with a plush animal by his side. However, it is only after reading the message attached to the package that they realize the truth behind that decision.
Andrés, the young child, has apparently decided to donate his beloved fur companion to the shelter in order to shield himself from his father’s cruelty. The caregivers at the shelter were so moved by the boy’s generosity that they decided to post the devastating note on Facebook after taking the puppy in.
The shelter reported, “Someone left this dog at the shelter’s door, inside a box, with a plush toy and a note.” “The note was written by a child, who explained that his father was constantly abusing the dog and planned to sell him. As a result, he left the dog here to save him in his grief.”
The 12-year-old boy decided to give up on the little dog because of his love for him, knowing that he would be safe and surrounded by love and compassion. The boy’s tremendous selflessness touched the hearts of everyone who read his comments, including the shelter’s staff.
The note, which was initially written in Spanish, reads, “My name is Andrés and I am 12 years old.” “My mother and I decided to put my dog in your care, keeping it hidden from my father, who is considering selling him.” He, on the other hand, mistreats and kicks him.
