The love we have for others often necessitates a lot of sacrifices, and one child was willing to give up everything for his puppy in order to keep him safe and loved. This Mexican child couldn’t bear seeing his pet Golden Retriever being mistreated by his relatives, so he took the poor dog and tied him to a park bench, hoping that someone would adopt him. He also put a note next to the dog to encourage him to make the difficult decision.
When several residents saw the fearful dog, they called for help, but not before bringing him water and food. Marcela Goldberg and Azul Galindo from Mascotas Coyoacan, an animal protection organization, came within minutes.
Marcela told The Dodo, “Several neighbors gathered and provided him water and food because they had left him chained to the seat with nothing.” “However, they were unable to approach the puppy because it was so terrified.”
A message was also discovered near to the bound dog by the rescue squad. The note, which was written in Spanish at the time, says:
“Please adopt me: Max,” says the narrator. I respectfully request that you adopt and care for this adorable puppy. It is really difficult for me to leave my dog here, but I took the decision to do so because my family used to mistreat him, and seeing him in that state would always upset me. Please adopt him and take excellent care of him if you’re reading this and your heart is fluttering. If not, please replace it with this note. Others will be able to read it and adopt him. “Thank you very much.”
Even though he was terrified and confused at first, the 8-month-old puppy calmed down once he realized the rescuers’ motives were good. Marcela’s ability to cut his chain had a significant impact on his mindset. The abandoned dog was subsequently transferred to Mascotas Coyoacan, where it is being cared for. Plus, he’s no longer known as Max, but Boston, and he’s looking for a loving family to adopt him.
“He will no longer be known as Max,” the rescue center posted on Facebook, “since he awaits a new existence free of the remnants of his previous life.” “Only love in Boston life from now on, because he’s a sweetheart.”
