The two-year-old puppy was beaten by the meat store owner while hanging upside down in a dark room to get her meat softer.
However, because the puppy’s paws were wrapped so tightly with a rope, the unfortunate dog developed an infection, and the paws started to fester.
They simply put it in the trash next to the butcher shop because it was no longer appropriate for meat.
Thankfully, her savior arrived in time, and the dog lived.
Although she had to have all four of her legs removed to save her life, the animal’s eyes still shine with a warm light of gratitude for her owner…
“She made it.” She also wanted to be back on her feet as soon as possible after the operation. “She seemed to be grinning from ear to ear and wagging her tail,” her rescuer observed.
Chi Chi, which means “lovely” in Korean, was the puppy’s name.
She went to the vet for two months of recuperation before moving to her new home in Phoenix, Arizona.
She is now awaiting the arrival of her owners. Chi Chi was even fitted with prosthetic limbs!
The new owners wish to join her in rehabilitation sessions with kids and military veterans who have lost limbs once she has fully recovered.
