Hope For Paws received a call one morning from a guy who alerted them about a blind dog who had gotten into the junkyard.
Duncan, an aging, blind Pit Bull, was discovered cowering under a van by rescuers who arrived quickly. They finally got Duncan out of the house and into the car after a lot of struggle.
Duncan required emergency medical attention and was rushed to the veterinarian. Duncan was in a bad way. Dehydration, periodontal disease, ocular ulcers, two mast cell tumors, and skin illness plagued him. Duncan was given a bath after his diagnosis, and it turns out that he has lovely fur. Duncan was well looked after and treated.
Duncan is presently in fantastic shape and living happily in his foster home after a few days of recuperation. We can’t express our gratitude to Hope For Paws enough for their wonderful service.
