Soccer players in Gori, Georgia, prepared to face off on the field, but they had no idea what was about to unfold.
An extremely enthusiastic black Labrador Retriever came dashing onto the field in the middle of their match. The dog’s origins are unknown, but he made it clear that he was there to have a good time and wouldn’t go until he got some much-needed belly rubs!
The puppy wiggled his tail as he went around the field for several minutes. He finally sat down in front of one of the goalkeepers and rolled over, hoping for some belly rubs.
Two medics arrived on the scene to extract the crazy dog, but he squirmed away. They soon recognized that removing the dog from the field would be a difficult undertaking.
Another player attempted to get the dog off the field by sprinting along the field’s edge as the dog trailed behind. However, as soon as the pup discovered the player’s strategy, he bolted in the opposite way.
The dog was eventually led off the field and into the stands. While interrupting the game, the dog provided everyone with a nice laugh as well as some extra exercise!
