When fate brings the appropriate individuals together with the pups who need them the most, it’s called serendipity. Chunkie, a five-month-old Pit Bull puppy who was saved from an abuser, is a beautiful five-month-old Pit Bull puppy. She was found tied to a post in the pouring rain, in addition to having a significant scabies illness that had ruined her skin and much of her fur. The adorable puppy was transported to a nearby shelter, but she was miserable and inconsolable.
There isn’t much that can cheer you up if you’ve been abused and abandoned and are suffering from health issues. Chunkie needed anything to help her get her life back on track.
Mike Thawley, a firefighter from Sacramento, California’s Fire Station 14, is credited with sparing Chunkie from a life of cruelty. Mike was ready to pay Chunkie a special visit, which she had no idea about.
When she spotted her hero, the once sad and lonely dog brightened up. When he unlocked her kennel, she immediately approached him and demanded plenty of cuddles. Chunkie even began kissing Firefighter Mike more and more. The shelter employees couldn’t believe it when she recognized her savior.
Mike discussed fostering the puppy with his family, but they ultimately decided to adopt her. The dynamic team has a long and happy life together.
