In a little Greek village, a white dog waits for his owner on one side of the road. He refuses to leave the area. He’s still patiently waiting for his owner.
Unfortunately, his owner perished in a vehicle accident and will not be returning. His brother passed away here a few years ago as well.
The community constructed a shrine here. The dog does not give up hope that his master would return. He’s been waiting for a year and a half.
He was given a home, food, and a blanket by the community. The dog is adamant about not going with anyone. He always returns to his owner’s monument, no matter where he goes.
The dog was given the name Hachiko of Nefpaktia by the locals. He was given the name of a Japanese cinema hero.
Ueno, the dog’s owner, and the dog were inseparable and always together.
The dog went to the police station to await his owner’s return from work. The dog was cared about by the neighborhood.
