Some dogs are likely to feel overwhelmed by all the changes when their owners bring a new baby home, as well as jealous of all the attention the little human is receiving. They may feel excluded, particularly if they have been the “only children” for a long time. But not Brego and Nami.
The two adoring pups had been looking forward to meeting their new best friend for nine months, and when the time came to see the newborn, they couldn’t contain their joy.
Furthermore, even before Jedi was born, the two dogs appear to have built a tight bond with him. Mom claims that the two dogs would always spend time near her belly button, and recent research supports her claims.
Because dogs are incredibly sensitive and in tune with their owners, they can know something is wrong long before we decide to tell them, especially when it’s a life-changing event like a pregnancy.
