He was startled, and his terrified eyes were wide open… He required rapid medical attention.
His throat was exposed but unaffected, and he was in pain. We administered pain medication and cleaned his wounds.
We couldn’t stitch him at his throat or chest since there wasn’t enough skin left…so we gave him antibiotics.
He didn’t care about food or affection.
He was more comfortable now, and his wounds were healing…but he still had a long way to go.
He’s in much better shape now.
