Ignored dog gets the attention he deserves after being sprayed in the eyes with freshener to start screaming… Poor puppy… Read the story here

Because of the vituperative abuse he reportedly received at the hands of his former owner, a dog went from healthy to dead in a matter of days.

He has exhibited a stunning reversal just days after being rescued by Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue in Tijeras, New Mexico.

Cynthia Dares, the author of Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue, shared on Facebook how Buster came to her in need of food and water. She also claims that his proprietor slapped him with corrections that reverberated in his eye and demanded to be removed. He was also neglected, which resulted in him having trouble walking and peeing.

Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue stated of the dog they took in on June 24, 2021, “Little Buster (renamed) has gone through hell in the last time.” ” He entered the home of a healthy woman with a gorgeous young son. He was rescued and brought into our house as a destitute, abused, abandoned, hungry, and without water for up to 14 hours at a time. Little creature, he only weighs 10.4 pounds.”

“His eye will be removed once Febreze is strewn in it since he barked,” they continued. His other eye, hopefully, will endure a little longer. He couldn’t walk because his paws were so awful. The nails were growing into his skin and over each other. The mats under his belly were wet in his urine, and he couldn’t pee-pee.”

Buster has had a successful eye operation since their original post, and he has also been prepared to remove the stickers from his paws and mats all over his body.

Dare stated that she intended to press charges of cruelty, and Valencia County Animal Control is investigating the allegations of mistreatment, according to KOB4 News.

According to Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue, the lady accused of abusing Buster was charged with canine abuse preliminarily in 2008. They expressed themselves on Facebook.

“…the worst thing is that this woman was charged with analogous mistreatment of a puppy she had recently gotten in 2008.” He was bigger than Buster, and she was given a slap on the wrist despite the fact that there was a videotape of the mistreatment, 100 hours of community service, exploration, and the inability to enjoy a canine while on exploration, as well as a $600 fee paid to the lady who was caring for him.”

It appears that no assignment was learned, and Buster suffered as a result. Regardless of whether or not there is an implied criminal case in the future, the most important thing is that Buster is now secure and being closely monitored.

“He’s a completely new canine after a couple of days of love and belly aggravations, food and drink, and just a lot of attention,” Dares told KOB4 News.

As her sanctuary is a lodge deliverance, he’ll spend the remainder of his days with Dares and her other deliverance pets. Dares states that the animals she saves “remain there until they’re ready to cross the Rainbow Bridge.”
