Each day, a bus driver in Canada, who wishes to remain unknown, makes a particular stop. This stop isn’t on her usual itinerary. The motorist goes out of her way to feed a stray dog that is in desperate need of assistance.
The driver is also a volunteer for Feed The Fur Babies Canada, a wonderful charity that feeds stray animals in remote areas so they don’t go hungry.
The stray dog was first observed by the bus driver almost two years ago. She first saw the dog as he rummaged among the trash in search of food. The pup was badly malnourished. If she spotted him again, the driver made sure she was prepared with a bag of food to give him. And she succeeded!
The dog was observed along the same stretch of road once more. She attempted to approach him, but it was evident that he was terrified of people. She walked away from him, leaving the bag of food behind.
Kareena Grywinski, the owner of Feed The Furbabies Canada, told The Dodo, “She has persisted to feed him each day, Monday to Friday, at the same place.” “No matter what the weather is like, he stays and patiently waits day after day.”
Despite the fact that it has been 2 years, the dog remains wary of approaching the bus driver. The dog, on the other hand, is no longer skin and bones, which is something to rejoice over.
Nobody really knows much about the dog or where he sleeps to stay warm, but he appears to be his only source of food because he always shows up to greet his pal. The bus driver and the rescue organization both want to take the dog in, but there isn’t enough room in local shelters or foster homes for him.
“Over 100 dogs need to be rescued in this town; it kills our hearts that we can’t take them all home,” Grywinski added. “There simply aren’t enough foster homes for these cherished dogs.” We do our best to help them by providing food and dog housing until a position at a rescue becomes available.”
