Andy Grannel’s Siberian Huskies are well-known in his hometown of St. Neots.
Amber, Topaz, and Talon, 12 years old, and Rocky and Vinnie, 3 years old, are among the man’s five children.
Residents of the city frequently see Andy wandering down the street with a large group of pets, but even if they stay at home, you can keep an eye on the dogs owing to the holes cut out in the gate by the caring owner.
When Andy watched his dogs pushing their snouts under the fence to check what was going on on the street, he had the idea to cut holes in the gate to appear like Mickey Mouse’s head.
The man claims that his pets have an inquisitive nature.
He didn’t bother the Huskies, who were eager to keep an eye on their neighbors, and “observation posts” for four dogs sprouted in the fence soon after.
Only Amber, a deaf pup who never keeps up with the other animals and does not hear noises from the road, remained on the sidelines.
Andy stated that his huskies enjoy interacting with strangers.
Four noses would quickly line up if someone appeared on the street!
Andy deduced that the townspeople liked the gate idea based on the number of posts on Facebook from locals — photographs of curious noses routinely surface on the social media platform.
Seeing all four dogs at the same time is a rare occurrence.
Jenny Polhill, who instantly captured the dogs on video and uploaded a unique snapshot on the city’s Facebook group, was recently offered the rare sight.
Her message drew a lot of interest.
Few neighbors were able to catch the moment when all of the “watching stations” were occupied at the same time.
Residents noted in the comments that they had been staring at the gate for several months.
They occasionally “capture” one or two dogs, but the rest of the “Mickey Mouse faces” stay at large.
One gentleman even expressed gratitude to Jenny for sharing a photo that his family had been waiting for several years.
