After receiving a terrible report of a dead dog in the middle of the road, Animal Aid rushed over. They attempted to seem upbeat.
Despite the fact that she was dying, the rescue group was aware that many of their dogs have survived despite being in such poor health. This dog, on the other hand, wasn’t even awake. Oh, poor little thing!
The veterinarian and his assistant wasted little time in attempting to save her. When she returned to the rescue facility, they assessed her right away. She was still in a state of semi-consciousness. During her checkup, they detected no broken bones, but her neurological evaluation came back negative. What did it all mean for the poor puppy? Is she going to be able to make it? They weren’t sure yet, but they weren’t going to give up on her!
Sona was the name given to the little puppy.
Sona had a serious head injury. Despite the fact that the wound was little, they took care of it. They then started providing essential nourishment and antibiotics through an IV.
By the third day, the kind volunteer had tried to get Sona to eat. She tried, but she was unable to swallow properly.
On the sixth day, Sona was able to swallow more easily, but she still couldn’t hold her head up.
On the seventh day, Sona moved on her own. She spent most of her time swimming. The young child had a long way to go, as was painfully obvious. Despite this, she was more attentive and driven.
Sona’s neurological injuries were substantial, but they could be treated. This tiny infant was a tenacious little thing. She was an encouragement to everyone she came into contact with!
Sona took her first steps upright after six weeks. They were quite harsh with her! She, on the other hand, was adamant about not giving up!
This is Sona after a few weeks! She’s still unsteady, but she’s a force to be reckoned with. She’s happy in her foster family. She is ecstatic to be able to play. Of course, there’s the desire to cuddle!
Did we mention Sona is a kitten aficionado?
Sona and her rescuers are the epitomai of bravery, and we adore them. Click on the video below to see her incredible story. Animal Aid, thank you for never giving up on this sweet little girl!
