A small dog was left in a Starbucks parking lot in California, where he spent the day begging for food scraps. When nobody came to claim him, an employee reached out to Hope For Paws for help.
When Hope For Paws’ Eldad Hagar came on the scene, the small puppy approached him and accepted some delicious food. The dog was hungry and only wanted to eat something. Eldad wrapped a leash around the dog’s collar after giving him food and earning his trust.
They returned to his car, where he looked for a microchip in the dog but couldn’t find one. Meanwhile, the hungry dog discovered the last chicken tender and devoured it.
Eldad turned to Instagram for help in coming up with the ideal name for the adorable puppy. Bean was the clear winner.
Bean was given a warm, relaxing bath before being examined by a veterinarian. The adorable dog began to come out of his shell and reveled in his rescuer’s attention.
The Forgotten Dog, a local pet rescue, has agreed to keep Bean until he can be adopted. The rambunctious puppy is looking for a forever home. He is a two-year-old Doxie/Chihuahua mix, according to the rescue. This gentle giant gets along well with other canines.
