Dog put his life on the line To save his blind owner’s life, he jumped into the subway tracks… Read to find out what happened next!

Just before the subway came in Manhattan, New York City, USA, a dog risked his life by jumping off the tracks to save his blind owner.

Mr. Cecil Williams, 61, and his canine Orlando were miraculously unscathed despite being passed by a locomotive above them. Mr. Williams’ life was turned upside down when he was abruptly stunned and fell into the tracks on his way to the dentist.

Mr. Williams added, “Orlando tried to hold me back and to save my life.” When he fell, the dog did not hesitate to jump down after him.

According to Matthew Martin, who witnessed the incident, Orlando leaped down and tried to wake Mr. Williams up as the train neared. “The canine kissed the proprietor and tried to get him out of harm.”

The train’s driver was advised by substantiations, who asked that the train be slowed down. Thankfully, both fell into the fosse of the railroad and survived. Mr. Williams was brought to the hospital by on-scene paramedics, and Orlando was not gravely injured.

Mr. Williams is still unsure why he passed out on the tracks, but feels it was a side effect of his medication. Despite his critical injuries, he felt protected because he was accompanied by a devoted canine companion.

Mr. Williams’ alternate canine companion is Orlando. He hasn’t had an eye since 1995. Orlando is a true hero and a devout canine.
