On his usual track on the outskirts of town, a jogger was visited by a small malnourished puppy one morning.
After getting abandoned by his owner behind the trees, the dog was absolutely taken aback.
When the puppy noticed that the jogger looked at him to see how he was doing, he realized that the man was nice. As a result, he began to follow him around with a large smile on his face. He also nuzzled the jogger’s shoes, begging him to take him somewhere safe.
The jogger then realized that leaving the dog there was risky because he was in a secluded area with no one nearby and a dangerous freeway about 500 yards away.
So he decided to take the puppy home, and after cleaning him, he fed him a warm dinner. He later contacted a local animal shelter, which was able to find the dog a forever home. What a fantastic jogger rescue!
