See Dwight, the doctor’s dog who makes clients eagerly anticipate their visits…

Dwight, a 1-year-old Labradoodle from Zanesville, runs to the dental office many times a week with his “mother,” a hygienist.

His job is to keep the patient quiet and assist him to overcome his worries while the dentist performs medical procedures.

Dwight is here for a purpose: the Labradoodle was trained as a therapy dog from the age of 12 weeks, and then received additional training in a training facility and a dentistry clinic.

Dwight was born for this profession, according to his trainer, Jensen McVey.

A nice and loving dog adores humans and is always willing to assist them. He enjoys his work at the clinic.

He maintains a calm demeanor, really empathizes with patients and is always available to them through difficult times.

Clients claim that after meeting Dwight, their attitude toward going to the dentist began to shift.

His coolness, confidence, and quiet support help individuals relax — and even diminish their fear of pain.

Dwight’s average workday starts with a huge smile and a wagging tail as he greets a client.

The dog does not leave the person during the process, and if he becomes restless, he “holds” his hand or even lies next to him on the couch.

Such assistance is priceless for children!

The fearful small patients quickly begin to smile when they see the dog at the doctor’s office and the procedures that previously caused terror to become a pleasant game.

“Thank you” is not a job for Dwight.

Of course, he does not receive a wage in the traditional sense, but he does receive tasty treats at the conclusion of each working day, and once a month, the owner surprises the pet with a BarkBox surprise box including a range of dog food snacks and toys.
