Angela, a pregnant 2 y/o corgi, was saved from a puppy mill.
And then a litter of Labrador pups arrived three weeks later.
Sadly, their mother died as a result of the arduous delivery, leaving the newborn babies alone.
The scenario was unfortunate, but the shelter personnel was determined and prepared to feed the dog on their own, taking turns on duty alongside them.
But first, they decided to test their luck by assigning Labradors to Angela, a young mother with a huge supply of milk.
The puppies were happily adopted by the corgi, which was a miracle.
Furthermore, when they tried to remove the infants from the incubator after feeding them, the dog objected and demanded that they be returned to her.
Angela held on to them for the rest of her life.
Angela was patient and loving with the puppies — there were eight of them now, including her own litter – and didn’t differentiate between her own and the others.
The puppies will be adopted soon, and each one is eagerly awaiting their new owners.
Both Corgis and Labradors came out to be healthy and robust – allowing a young mother with a big heart who made room for all her cubs, no matter what color, size, or breed they were.
