Many parents believe that raising a child with a large dog in the house is a huge no-no. Many people appear to be concerned about potential hazards, but if the tale below is any indication of the truth, it is the polar opposite.
A family in Australia can thank their faithful canine for saving their young daughter’s life, and they couldn’t be more grateful. Khan, the family’s dog, is said to be indebted to them for the rest of their lives. Their lives could have turned out quite differently if it hadn’t been for him.
Because, while Charlotte, their seventeen-month-old daughter, was playing in the backyard, the dog apparently prevented her from being bitten by a dangerous snake. To get Charlotte’s mother’s attention and signal that something was wrong, the dog began acting strangely and pretended to be aggressive toward her.
You could imagine that the dog has been with the family since before Charlotte was born and that the dog’s devotion to the family has taken a long time to develop. But, believe it or not, Khan had only been with the family for four days when the sad situation occurred. Even so, the family claims that Khan and Charlotte were a perfect match from the start!
