Not all heroes have capes, but they all have kindness in their hearts, which this 10-year-old child seems to have in abundance. Brady Snakovsky of Strongsville, Ohio, has raised almost $315,000 for animal welfare, which he utilized to purchase bulletproof vests for K9 officers.
It all began two years ago after the youngster and his mother saw an episode of the Live PD show. Our hero was startled to learn that police dogs aren’t required to wear bulletproof vests like their handlers, despite the fact that they are also risking their lives. Brady realized he had to act since this was an intolerable situation for an 8-year-old. So he set up a GoFundMe page in order to provide the devoted four-legged officers with the necessary equipment.
Brady was soon purchasing the first vests for the Ohio State Troopers K9s. Since then, the good-hearted young man has been fully committed to his mission. To get his voice heard, he began to attend local gatherings. He even addressed a letter to a local congressman, pleading for assistance. Brady remarked at the time, “I want to be a police officer because I want to keep others safe.” “Because it’s critical for these dogs, who save people’s lives, to be safe as well.”
Brady’s K9 Fund, a nonprofit that generates money to provide bulletproof jackets for K9s and military dogs, was founded not long ago by this little hero. Brady has so far raised more than $315,000 thanks to his dedication. That’s 257 dogs with vests!
Brady’s mother, Leah Tornabene, told CNN, “We were watching the show together and I didn’t even notice that the dog wasn’t wearing a vest.” “I was astounded that an eight-year-old could recognize a problem and solve it.” As his mother, I am really proud of him for prioritizing others. He believes they should be safeguarded, and he believes there is a need for it.”
