Tia Vargas chose to go for a hike one day, little realizing that she would be bringing home a new family member…
She came upon a group of hikers standing next to an injured Springer Spaniel on her way back down. The hikers were concerned, but they had no idea who the owner was or what they should do. “Boomer” is the dog’s name, which is written on his collar. They suspected the injured dog belonged to the family who was missing a dog along the trail.
Tia volunteered to bring the dog down because the hikers were heading up. The poor puppy was seriously hurt, dehydrated, and had one paw dislocated. Tia put the dog onto her shoulder and began walking down the trail, realizing he couldn’t walk on his own.
Boomer will perish if Tia does not intervene before he runs out of time. Tia realized she needed the fortitude to aid the pup despite the grueling journey, which was made even more difficult by the fact that she was carrying a 55-pound puppy.
The woman met up with her father, who chose to stay below and hike down. Tia’s strength was put to the test when they got lost twice on the way down.
It didn’t stop there; rain began to fall. Tia prayed and gathered her strength once more, despite being fatigued and exhausted. They eventually made it to the bottom of the trail after six hours.
Tia phoned Boomer’s family and learned that he had become separated from his family and was imprisoned in a deep fissure. The family was upset after searching for the dog for several hours. They owe Tia a debt of gratitude now that they’ve found Boomer.
The family was set to move out and needed to find a new home for Boomer due to an unforeseen turn of events. They then asked if Tia could adopt Boomer after everything she had done for him.
Tia consented without hesitation, and she believes it was fate that brought them together. Boomer is now Tia’s new mother, and he couldn’t be more proud of his brave and loving mother.
