Nessy was found after Ukrainian forces reclaimed control of Kyiv after Russia’s month-long occupation, which left the area devastated and many people dead.

The dog was split from its owner as Russian soldiers occupied the city a few weeks ago, but footage published at the time showed the husky being reunited with its owner.

Nessy is shown sprinting across what appears to be an auto demesne before gaining the proprietor’s attention.

Before approaching them and howling with excitement at being reunited, the dog starts sprinting with its tail wagging.

After tracking down Nessy’s owner, the Kastus Kalinouskiv Battalion, a group of Belarussian dogfaces volunteering in Ukraine, organized the reunion.

The organization wrote on Facebook, “A little positive in these difficult times.”

We leave Nessy, the canine, alone during Bucha’s release. But, due to our musketeers, we were able to plant her hosts, and she is now back with them.

We are fighting for the lives of not only people but all animals!
