For example, this bus driver in Buenos Aires, Argentina, was driving his regular route when he came across some stray dogs.
In this city, it is unlawful to transport dogs on buses.
Instead of averting his gaze and proceeding to the next stop, the driver took a step onto the sidewalk.
He guided the stray dogs into the warm, dry cabin by opening the bus door.
The dogs were overjoyed to be out of the elements and took seats next to the driver and farther along the bus.
Passengers began to pay attention to and photograph little dogs…
The video went viral, and the gentle, compassionate bus driver was hailed as a true hero.
