Ox’s alarming conduct in his kennel shortly after his owner left shocked the employees at the Humane Society of Hamilton County in Indiana. Ox sobbed like a defeated child as he hung his head from his kennel bed. His heart had been irreversibly damaged, and the staff was well aware that senior dogs like him sometimes lose their will to live and are euthanized.
The sanctuary uploaded Ox’s terrible kennel photo on social media right away, touching the hearts of a large number of people. A woman drove to the shelter and acquired Ox just two hours after seeing the advertisement! Ox’s spirits were raised as he found himself in the embrace of another loving human, despite the fact that he was still in shock from the events of the day.
