Lukasz Muniowski and his wife Natalia were riding their bikes through the Polish countryside when they came across a wandering dog whose head bulged from a ditch.
Muniowski’s other half noticed the dog, but as soon as they came to a halt to study it, the dog drew back into the ditch.
The animal looked to be jerking its legs in an unusual manner, making the couple even more terrified and determined to save the critter.
Muniowski dug through to collect the pet, which was closed on one side by a massive rock, while his colleague looked at the other side.
After I was eventually able to lift the boulder, she scented it and put her paws on my palm. Bobby was her given name later on.
They hurried the dog to a nearby veterinarian since it appeared like her legs were fractured. The vet was concerned that Bobby was suffering and that there was nothing he could do to help her, so he suggested they put her down.
The couple did not give up, and when they came home, they took her to another veterinarian who was able to assist her a little bit more: they needed to amputate one of Bobby’s back legs and brace it so she could walk.
Despite her difficult start in life, Lukasz and his wife adopted Bobby, and while it was first discouraging to watch her unable to run as she desired, Bobby eventually learned to run and is now a happy, well-liked dog.
