It’s not unexpected that dogs make excellent moms for the puppies and kittens of other dogs or cats. In this case, though, the dog is taking care of a 9-day-old foal named Tye.
Sandy the foal’s mother, who was 22 years old at the time, was euthanized due to health difficulties. Her foal, on the other hand, was alone in the world. Fortunately, the dog at S & K Quarter Horses in Fayette, Alabama, was a really friendly creature. He began to treat Tye as if he were a real mother.
He slept the entire night with the baby, consoling him with his paws under the horse’s neck. This was the finest option for the young foal, who was only 9 years old.
