After being separated during the war in Ukraine, a man was given the opportunity to reconcile with his missing Husky. The touching scene was made possible by brave Belarusian volunteer troops who discovered the puppy, rescued her, and reunited her with her family. The lovely event was captured on film and went viral online!
Nessie, a sweet Husky, was separated from her family just after the war began, and her family never expected to see her again. But only to be reunited with her miraculously a few weeks later.
The dog was first discovered by a troop of Belarusian soldiers, who mistook her for a stray. In any case, they posted the news of the dog’s discovery online in the hopes that someone would identify her.
Fortunately, it wasn’t long before they discovered Nessie had gone missing and wasn’t a stray dog. So, in a parking lot in Kyiv, the nice soldiers tracked down the owners and facilitated a lovely reunion.
The heartwarming video shows Nessie walking, then running toward her owner as soon as she recognizes him. The two hugged and cuddled as they appeared to be overjoyed to see each other again!
“As long as certain individuals treat people like animals, we are fighting for the life of not only humans but all animals,” the battalion that discovered Nessie said on the internet! The reunion can be seen here:
