He was discovered on the side of the road, unable to move, with a massive tumor protruding from his stomach. He was defenseless, and abandoning him was out of the question. He was picked up and transported to the hospital, where he was treated medically.
His condition was critical, and he had stopped eating because he felt the tumor was killing him.
Midnight came safely yesterday, and the veterinarians performed blood tests, X-rays, and an ultrasound right away.
Unfortunately, he has a variety of problems, including hookworms, anemia, and malnutrition.

Our senior guy Midnight’s operation to remove the tumor that has been bothering his body for far too long will be announced tomorrow. He also had incredibly low blood platelets, so we couldn’t perform surgery to remove the tumor because he wouldn’t have lived.
His tumor is increasing, so we’ll have blood tests tomorrow, and he’ll hopefully have surgery in the next few days. Midnight is a unique young man who is adored by many.
The Midnight operation was successful, and the tumor, which was actually a testicular tumor, was removed.
It was huge, weighing in at around 4.85 pounds. That was such a weight on his frail little body, and I’m thrilled for him that it’s no longer there. Midnight, who was even able to take a few steps following surgery, has earned our admiration.
As you know, I like this senior lad, and he is winning the hearts of everyone who meets him.
