Love is something that you can’t always see with your eyes but always feel with your heart.
Katie Frame, a Pennsylvania girl, knows her canine Bear adores her, despite the fact that he is blind. When he rests his huge, square head on her stage, when she cuddles with him on the settee, and when the canine sits by her bases and gazes up at her adoringly, she feels the affection from her dog.
Bear loves Katie without condition, and the emotion is widespread, but Bear hasn’t always been fortunate enough to grow up in a loving home. He and his sisters were running around in Trenton, New Jersey when he was hit by a car when he was just one year old. Bear was critically hurt in a gas station parking lot after the car drove away without stopping.
Katie remarked, “He looked like a commodity from a weird horror movie.”
Bear was near death when he was transferred to the original pet sanitarium, where Katie’s mother worked. His owner was notified, but when they arrived to identify him and realized the extent of his injuries, they decided to leave him alone. He sat in misery in the pen for three days. The bear’s eyes were so badly damaged that they had to be removed.
Katie’s mama couldn’t stomach seeing the miserable canine who had been abandoned by every human he’d ever known. After debating the pros and cons of bringing an impaired dog into their home, they decided to go ahead and do it.
Katie stated, “She told me about Bear, and we decided to open our hearts and homes to the sad soul.” ” After that, he received the medical attention he so sorely needed, and my lovely boy returned home. Let me tell you, he’s the happiest, sweetest dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.”
Katie and her family were ecstatic to uncover an awful, loving personality lurking beneath the mask after his health issues were resolved. Katie claims he is unaffected by his blindness, and that he is a perfectly normal dog in every aspect.
“Living with an eyeless dog isn’t that dissimilar from living with a typical dog,” Katie explained. ” He runs into difficulties now and then, but he eventually counterplotted the house in his head and is able to go around more easily than I permitted him to.”
Bear enjoys going for walks, chewing on his favorite ball, and playing with the family’s golden retriever, Reese, just like the most putrid home pets.
Bear adores everyone and is known for introducing himself to new people by jumping into their stages for kisses. His sense of hail is extremely acute, allowing him to traverse his environment with great ease. His family, like all good families, is eager to assist him when he needs it.
Despite all of the assistance the Frame family has provided Bean, they all agree that he has given them far more. “I was so angry before he came into my life that I was squandering my life,” Katie explained. ” I felt as if time was passing me by faster than I could keep up with. But now I feel like I’m doing something worthwhile. He has made a major difference in my life.”
Katie says she can’t picture living without her blind dog, and she’s now more comfortable working with creatures who have specific needs.
” He inspires me to get up and participate in life. When I’m feeling down, he makes me laugh, and he gives me a cause to grin. Bear is a fantastic dog. Nothing can keep him from living a regular, happy life. He wasn’t blind, and he wasn’t stressed. He’s taught me that love isn’t something you see, but something you feel.”
