Many pets are abandoned by their owners, which is a tragic truth. In the middle of a deserted place, a gorgeous dog was tethered to a tree. He’d been without food and water for days and appeared to have been physically abused.
There was no doubt in the minds of the locals who were fortunate enough to find the dog in time to save him. They had left him there with the purpose of letting him die in complete solitude.
He wouldn’t let anyone help him since he was afraid of being mistreated by humans.
However, assisting the furry one was not simple. That’s because it was impossible for him to trust humans following his traumatic experience. As a result, the neighbors contacted an NGO in the region, directed by Macarena Medina, who coordinates the Zaguates pet refuge.
The puppy had been tied to the tree for roughly four days at that point. Under the hashtag @zaguatesrefugio, social media organized to assist him, and he was able to be transported in a car, despite his aggressive behavior to protect himself.
They had to sedate him to aid him since he was so impacted by what he had gone through.
Former Argentine soccer player Juan Sebastián Verón, also known as “La Brujita Verón,” approached the animal shelter at that time. He was interested in adopting the puppy, which he named Ramón.
To make sure he was in excellent hands, Macarena double-checked that Sebastián didn’t have any children or other pets at home and that he had previous experience with Ramón’s breed. The former footballer had completed all of the adoption paperwork and was looking forward to the puppy’s arrival at his new home.
The name for the dog was decided by the fans of “La Brujita Verón.”
Everyone was surprised when the puppy’s behavior altered soon after arriving at the former soccer player’s home. Sebastian greeted him as if they’d known one other for years, and the canine returned the greeting. He was the appropriate individual for the job!
“Sebastián greeted him as if he had known him for years when he arrived at the residence. “I was a little fatigued, but they took me on a walk, and the dog was great on the street,” Macarena added.
Human-dog relationships continue to improve. Being the most visible manifestation of an animal’s pure heart, regardless of breed.
“This bulldog demonstrates a dog’s gratitude. “You watch how he fills Verón with kisses because he was mistreated and cast aside to die,” Macarena remarked.
He can finally be content.
