This story is about Toby, a faithful dog who had been waiting for his owner, Roman, to get home from work every day outside the window.
Roman used social media to cope with his sadness after his dog died after 11 years of companionship! Toby was lovely and pleasant, according to Roman, and even when he was violent with others, he was still sweet to them.
When the owner went back to work, where he spent 8-10 hours per day, his faithful dog would wait for him at the window. Toby clearly knew what time Roman would be home as he waited at the door for him.
Toby, who already had cardiomyopathy, a torn ligament, and three major operations under his belt, was diagnosed with stage four kidney failure and cancer in October 2018! He was warned he wouldn’t live much more by the veterinarian, however, he lived until February 2019!
Roman’s decision to take Toby to the vet to be put down is one of the most agonizing of his life. What a heartbreak!
