Family members assist a senior Golden Retriever with terminal cancer in fulfilling his life goals…

Stray animal control authorities discovered Theo, a Labrador, in the parking lot of a supermarket.

The dog did not appear to be in excellent health, so he was taken to a veterinarian facility to be examined.

The dog had testicular cancer with metastases to the prostate and abdominal cavity, which was discovered there.

Because of his senior age and extreme state of disease, the doctors refused to undertake Theo’s surgery. A non-profit organization that assists abandoned and homeless animals chose to provide the dog with a final home.

As a result, Theo was placed in the house of Jenny Leach, an experienced volunteer, and mother of three children.

The woman quickly recognized what a unique puppy she had received.

Jenny explains, “Despite his critical disease, Theo is always smiling.” “We’re not sure how he ended up on the street, but he seems to enjoy it.”

Seeing how her ward delights in new experiences and enjoys each day, the kind woman resolved to make his final days the happiest possible by fulfilling all of the dying dog’s demands.

Jenny decided to share her concept with Facebook users in the hopes that someone would be willing to assist her.

The woman was soon approached by the organization Live Like Roo, which helps families with cancer-stricken pets.

They promised to cover all of the fees related to the dog’s medical care, which was already a substantial sum.

Jenny was able to secure funding to carry out her plan.

The first item on Theo’s “bucket list” was a trip to the toy store, where he selected a companion in the form of a blue octopus toy.

Jenny decided to buy a spare duplicate of the toy because she knew it wouldn’t last long (the dog ripped a friend to shreds), but she couldn’t find anything similar.

She posted about it on Facebook, and Theo’s fans responded by sending him a dozen blue octopuses the next day.

Theo went on a number of experiences over the next few months, including a visit to a farm, an ice cream shop visit, getting sworn in as a K-9 police dog, a blind date with a German shepherd named Sasha, piloting a small skydiving plane, and taking part in numerous picture shoots.

Followers of the Labrador’s story on social media began to provide new suggestions and assistance to his owner.

As a result, one of Theo’s supporters took him on a boat cruise, while another drove him in a convertible. In addition, a local brewery has developed “Theo’s octopus,” a special beer named after the dog’s favorite toy.

Jenny is overjoyed and grateful to the citizens of the city for assisting her in carrying out her most wonderful ambitions.

Theo saw and experienced more in just a few months with her than he had in his entire previous life.

And, despite seeing how the sickness takes her pet away one by one, the volunteer isn’t ready to give up yet and plans to keep bringing joy to the dog for as long as it takes.
