After his mom was hit and killed by a car, a puppy, now known as Baby, was left to fend for himself on the roads.
A high-ranking official began by leaving meals and water out for him and the other stray dogs every day. He noticed the puppy waiting in the same location every time he went outside as if he was expecting his useless mother to return for him.
Thankfully, Baby was rescued sooner rather than later, before it was too late. He was previously terrified of getting into a car for the first time, but he was merely relieved to be out of the frigid streets.
He was taken to the veterinarian, where he had his immunizations, deworming, tick and flea medicine, and parasite medication. Fortunately, he was once awarded a clean bill of health!
He ate and slept a lot his first night, something he couldn’t do on the streets.
His exuberant personality emerged after he had gotten a good night’s sleep. He used to be a very active, lively, alert, and intelligent young man.
The baby was even adopted and now has a second chance at life in a warm, loving household!
