The journey to finding a permanent home can be long, but it all began when this puppy was discovered by the road, where her entire temperament changed when she was discovered.
A dog was discovered near to a road by animal rescuers. She was a touch too close to the road in her seat. When approached, the small dog appeared unsure of how to react.
However, once she realizes that no one is trying to harm her, she becomes ecstatic to see others. She dashes from the rescuers to a location deeper down in the ditch.
In the ditch, there’s another puppy who looks eerily similar to her. It’s apparent that brother and sister were abandoned together. He was apparently killed when he was struck by a vehicle.
This helps to explain the surviving sister’s despondent mood when she was first discovered. It took a long time for the rescuers to catch her. She wasn’t going voluntarily, as happy as she was to see everyone.
She was on her way to the life her brother would have wanted for her as soon as they captured her. She now lives happily in a new home with a caring family that will not abandon her.
