Because the dog’s therapy would have been excessively expensive, the owner elected to euthanize it. The firefighter arrived at the rescue at that point.
He was nearly killed by the owner of a 16-month-old dog. On the other hand, the firefighter who rescued the beast from the blazing apartment chose to give his furry companion a second chance at life.
In September, a dog named George was captured after an apartment fire in Iowa. According to People, Malcolm Cortner (Malcolm Cortner) was one of the first interviewers on the scene, and he and the other firemen put out the fire inside the burning structure.
The huge mastiff was located in the flat by Malcolm and the other firefighters, who res.cued it. They were able to get him to safe ground in time and provide him with oxygen.

Animal Control assessed the puppy after he was transported to safety and found that tiny George didn’t have many options. Either the dog will need expensive treatment or it will have to be put down.
The proprietor picked the second choice and had George put down because paying the medical bills would be too expensive.
“The proprietor chose the ultimate one,” according to the Facebook post.
After taking the dog to safety, Firefighter Malcolm didn’t just stand by and watch it be put to sleep. He decided to pay for George’s medical care and give him with a family.
Without hesitation, the fireman was qualified to save George’s life twice: once from a blazing apartment and again from his landlord’s euthanasia.
The firefighter “requested to subscribe for control of the Mastiff for further treatment at his own expense,” according to the social media post.
“His plea was approved,” and “treatment was organized.”
The message added, “Congratulations to Firefighter Cortner on the arrival of a new stylish friend, George.”
The touching scene went viral on Facebook, with many people thanking the firemen and wishing the two newly formed musketeers luck.
“Firefighter Cortland is a fighter in more ways than one,” one user said.
