This post will provide you with all the proof you require that dogs are the best.
Meet Hayley Martin, an autistic Australian lady who has inspired millions of people across the world with a powerful and emotional video of her service dog calming her down after a panic episode.
Haley has autism and frequently experiences sensory overload and panic attacks, which were once life-threatening for her, but she is doing much better now that she has her service dog Marley at her side.
Marley is so much more to Haley than a pet and a companion; he is a necessary lifeline without which she would perish.
Hayley met Marley in May 2018, and the dog has had a huge impact on her mental health and well-being since then. He recognizes panic attacks quickly and intervenes to protect Hayley by comforting her.
In 2019, she wrote, “This puppy has saved my life.” “He’s turned into a service dog for me.” He has helped me become more self-sufficient. Has returned so much of my life to me.”
At the end of the article, watch a video of Marley assisting Hayley through a panic episode.
In the video, Hayley becomes increasingly disturbed, scratching and hitting her legs in an attempt to calm herself down, but Marley places his paw over her hand.
Hayley repeatedly pushes his paw away, but the dog remains calm. Finally, he leaps onto her lap and licks away her tears in a “forced hug.” She still appears distraught, but she begins to relax and wraps her arms around him.
“Every single day, I am so grateful to have this boy,” she added. “This was more difficult to post than the others, and it’s a little more severe.” But I want to teach people that dogs can be quite helpful.”
What a great friendship these two have, and you can see how caring Marley is by the fact that he never loses up on Hayley, no matter how many times she pushes him away. This is an excellent lesson for all of us.
