Every day was a new battle for Helen, the stray dog, to conquer the obstacles of existence and, after all, to survive. The dog has never had a home or a person to call his own.
She was aimlessly wandering the streets of Romania when she was spotted by a visitor. When she saw the stray dig, the gentle woman couldn’t help but cry. So she dialed the number for Howl of a Dog, an animal rescue charity. Soon after, the volunteers arrived and took the sad dog away.
The stray dog was taken to the veterinarian and properly inspected. Anaplasmosis, a thick-borne disease, was discovered to be present in the dog. Helen began to receive her treatment.
