Life was unjust and tragic for a dog named Fae. But her life was about to take a change for the better when she was discovered in the middle of a busy highway.
A man saw the senior Chihuahua and pulled over to help her, but she would have to take another detour before finding her forever home.
The 10-year-old Chihuahua didn’t even deserve to go through what she did. Nobody knew how long she’d been on the road, but she was clearly abandoned. Thankfully, on that particular day, this Good Samaritan was in the right location at the right time to assist her. He loaded her into his car and drove away.
The man desperately wanted to keep Fae, but his wife insisted they couldn’t. So he had no choice but to take the old dog to Animal Services in Baldwin Park. He hated doing this to a dog who had been through so much in his life, but he had no choice.
But, as it turned out, another man had planned to acquire a dog for his 50th birthday. He had to have Fae when he saw her! He thought he could provide the perfect home and life for the old lady, despite her poor health.
That final image tells it all. Fae was overjoyed to have found love, and she expressed her gratitude to her new father for giving her a second opportunity.
Many people are hesitant to adopt a senior dog nearing the end of its life, but this man was not one of them! He’d make Fae’s final years the greatest of her life, giving her the life she deserved.
